FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

The most common question I am asked is, "Can you make us look good even if we are awkward in front of a camera"? The answer is YES! I 100% understand how that feels and I will guide you through poses that will allow us to get those authentic, candid shots. I don't expect you to be a professional model and my intention is for it to be a fun experience. We can be silly and playful and adventure together. I will capture the in between moments of love and connection in a way that tells your story and when you look at those images you can feel that moment in your heart all over again.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based near San Francisco, CA and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. I love being inspired by shooting in new places, so feel free to start a conversation about your destination wedding and let's get some amazing and unique shots of you two!

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your wedding). After this, you will be able to select your images from the online gallery to purchase separately as prints or an album. You will also receive a USB of the carefully selected and lightly edited images saved as jpegs. While I retain the copyright to the photos, you will have unlimited printing rights meaning you are welcome to print them wherever you like.

How many pictures will we receive? Can we add images and/or hours?

For weddings, you will receive 200-900 depending on the package you select. While I am a firm believer in quality over quantity, you are welcome to add more photos for an additional fee. All packages are customizable and you may add hours of coverage which will include additional images. Per additional hour, 40-60 images are included.

For standard portrait sessions you will receive 45 edited images with the option to increase the number of images you receive in your package.

What should i expect when booking a session?

After a conversation about your goals for the session, I will send over a contract to be signed. A fifty percent deposit is required to reserve your session date. Once I receive your contract and deposit, your session is booked.
After this, I will work with you to create a photo itinerary within your wedding day to ensure we get all of the most important shots to you.
A week before your wedding we will have a call to go over any updated information and your final deposit will be due.

What is included in editing?

Your images will be lightly edited for things like contrast, exposure and color balance. Removing/adding objects and skin retouching is an additional fee if requested.

Do you have photography insurance?

Yes! I carry photography insurance and am happy to provide this should your venue request documentation.
